The Battle For Earth
Prologue
Long ago, at the beginning of time, there were two races, the Metrics and the Humans. The Metrics were grey and tall - about 7 feet to be exact. They were also strong. They have icy blue eyes and spikes. The Metrics and Humans constantly fought over the planets they found, resulting in dozens of bloody wars. Then they found one, Earth. There was too little for both of them, so they had to fight.
They did. It was a bloody war that lasted years, but the Humans won. They got Earth with its resources and beautiful oceans. The Metrics got a trash planet named Ton. The sky was always brown, the soil was polluted and there was trash everywhere. The king of the Metrics held a grudge on the humans for life.
The humans devolved though. They grew hair all over and forgot how to speak. They were later called cavemen by the humans. Soon they developed religion, architecture and racism. Now the year is 2018 and humans are nowhere near advanced as they were.
Chapter 1
The King of the Metrics finally snapped. He ordered the slaves to stop and said “We will take what is rightfully ours.”
Earth, August 21, 2018
“So, how are you doing?” John asked sarcastically. John is a white kid with black hair and blue eyes.
“I’m fine,” said Charlotte angrily. Charlotte had just taken a nasty fall.
“Your black eye doesn't say that,” John teased.
“Shut up!” Charlotte yelled. Charlotte is a white girl with red hair and freckles. John and Charlotte are best friends but John likes to tease her. They were about to head from school then “BOOM”, there was an explosion. The loud sound of the fire alarm went off
Everyone was in a panic. John and Charlotte ran to the bathroom.
“What’s going on?” Charlotte asked with panic in her voice.
Then they heard a loud booming voice say, “Humans we have come here to take Earth and exterminate you!” It was the Metrics. One kid was stupid enough to ask them why.
“What do you mean ‘why?’ Do you not remember the war for Earth?” the Metric inquired
“What war?” the kid asked. John and Charlotte poked their heads out to see what was going on. They saw the Metric and were terrified. They saw that one was talking. The Metrics finally understood that they had no memory of the war and one of them said
“This should be fun.” He raised his long, gray muscular arm and hit the kid, killing him instantly. Everybody ran, trying to escape, but the Metrics caught up to them.
John and Charlotte peeked out the bathroom window and saw that the coast was clear so they made a break for it. One of the Metrics noticed them and ran after them. He grabbed Charlotte by the neck
“The King will like you” he said, with his deep booming voice. Then he took off with her. John tried chasing after her but he couldn't catch up.
Eventually John came across a shop with TVs on the wall. It said that The Metrics have invaded all of Earth. On the TVs he saw all the important landmarks have been destroyed. His beast idea is to run to his house because that is where he feels safe. When he arrived the sky is a golden color. He could see the fires from the Metrics attacks. He went inside and his heart stopped. He saw his house was in shambles. He looked up and saw a massive hole in the ceiling. He went around his broken home to trying to find his mom. When he opened her bedroom door and what he saw made him sick. He saw his mom’s lifeless corpse on her bed. Her skin was pale white, blood was dripping out of her mouth and her eyes were rolled back into her head. The tangy smell of blood filled the room as tears started to run down his face.
“How could this happen” He screamed. Suddenly he heard a loud boom in the living room. It was a Metric. He hid behind a pile of clothes in the bedroom closet. He heard the footsteps as the Metric was getting closer and closer. He heard the door open. There was a few moments of silence, then there was a scream outside. The Metric ran out of the room to the voice outside. That was his time to escape so he did. He went to the cellar outside his house. It was dark, very dark.
Still crying he searched around for the light switch, his hand going through multiple spider webs in the proses. When he finally found the switch he turned on the light he scanned the room. The cellar walls were metal with rust all over, the floor was covered with bugs and there was one singular light source hanging from the ceiling that gave off a dim glow. Then he noticed a corner that he could walk around and when he did he discovered a bunch of people hiding in it.
“Who are you” John asked sternly with a trimble in his voice.
The one in the middle stood up and said “Are you going to put us back out there?”
“Who are you?” he said again, this time annoyed.
“Please don't put us back out there” he repeated.
“ANSWER THE QUESTION!” John screamed.
“Ok, ok, you don't have to be so mean about it,” he said. “We are brothers from St. Mary's orphanage,” he mumbled.
“Now, you have to answer my question. Are you going to send us back out there with those things” the middle one said loudly.
“No”, John said, “I guess not”.
“Why are you here though” he asked.
“Because we saw that the house was in shambles and we thought we could stay here” he answered. “Whats your name?” John asked.
The one in the middle said, “My name is Steve and to my right is Sam and to my left is Bill”.
“What do we do now?” John asked.
“Survive,” they all said in unison.
